Easter Miracle

He was crucified on Friday

As example to the Horde

On a wooden cross he perished

He was Jesus, our dear Lord

We pay homage to that Friday

We call good, by Church decree

For His sacrifice to Mankind

Was an act that set us free

We were granted absolution

By his prophesized demise

In accordance with the scriptures

On the Third Day He did rise

Now the miracle still claims us

We renew our faith each year

On a day called Easter Sunday

We all worship and revere

Gaily clad in celebration

We parade to Church to pray

As we wait for second coming

And our fate on Judgment Day
